Opus score at the CEDIA Expo 5-a-side charity football match!
After a successful first day at the CEDIA Expo in London, Opus took the team to the football pitch in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. The boys gave it their best shot and the Opus cheerleaders wowed the crowd with their moves!

Visit Opus at ISE 2009 in Amsterdam
Opus Technologies will be making its Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) show debut in Amsterdam next month.
Held between 3-5 February, Opus will be exhibiting its full range of audio/video multi-room systems and integration with third party home automation solutions on Stand K67, Hall 11.

Opus moves into the National Self Build & Renovation Centre
Opus Technologies has recently taken on a permanent presence in the National Self Build and Renovation Centre near Swindon. The centre attracted over 20,000 visitors in its first year many of whom have their own plot of land and are ready to start building their dream home. Research has shown an exponential growth in the number of people equipped for custom installations having prewired new builds and renovated homes with cabling.
The Centre is the perfect way to educate people about the importance of future proofing a home for multi-room entertainment.

Opus expands third party integration

Opus has introduced two new products to dramatically improve integration between the Opus 500 and other smart home systems. The SCU600 Serial Control Unit allows Opus to control 3rd party solutions such as lighting, video switching, heating and blinds. Developed simultaneously is the sophisticated TXT600 Text Interface Unit which allows the WCU500 and the stunning WCU600 touchscreen keypad to not only display playlist, album, artist, track and genre text but also interrogate files on a number of music servers.

CEDIA UK show in the news
Opus' triumphant CEDIA UK show has been in the news with TechRadar (27-6-08) describing the WCU600 touchscreen as "the pick of the best" keypads.
The Opus stand buzzed throughout the show as visitors marvelled at the dazzling keypad demonstrations.

CEDIA EXPO UK - Day One huge success!
Opus enjoyed a hugely successful day at CEDIA EXPO UK.
Held at the ExCel centre in London's docklands, Opus' impressive stand was buzzing from start to finish on day one of the show.
The stunning WCU600 touchscreen keypad commanded much attention with demos running all day. It was heralded as the gateway to the smart home thanks to its seamless integration between the Opus 500 system and third party home automation solutions such as lighting, video switching, music servers, heating and blinds.

Guests were treated to an expert demonstration of this fantastic product by Opus' Technical Director and Product Manager.

Arabian Business (6-3-08) features a story on high-tech interiors including Opus. They said, "the Opus 500 works by centralising home entertainment equipment and allows the user to enjoy different music and video in different areas simultaneously.
