Train The easiest way to get to Opus is by London Underground (Tube) or mainline train. Opus is located in Zone 1 and within a ten minute walk of London Bridge station (mainline, Northern Line and Jubilee Line) and just five minutes from Borough Underground station (Northern Line – Bank branch).
Car The nearest car park is the NCP located on Snowsfields. This car park is within five minutes walk of the Opus office but it is inside the Congestion Charge zone. A machine to pay this toll is located within the car park.
CycleShould you wish to cycle, we have secure indoor bike storage available. Additionally there is a Barclays Cycle Hire docking station less than five minute walk away.
Motorbike You can park your motorbike or scooter for free, right outside our building.
Air Central London is served by several major airports and is within easy reach using train and or underground services. Apart from London City, London’s airports are located a considerable distance from central London, therefore avoid using taxis as these will be expensive.
There are several options for travel to central London from Heathrow:
• Heathrow Express - Fast, regular train to London Paddington from Terminals 1, 3 & 5. This journey takes up to 20 minutes but is more expensive than the Heathrow Connect.
• Heathrow Connect – Regular, stopping trains from Terminals 1, 3 & 4 to London Paddington with a journey time of around 30 minutes. From Paddington take the Bakerloo Line (southbound) to Elephant & Castle, change here to the Northern Line (northbound) to Borough station – from here Opus is a five minute walk away.
• Underground from Heathrow – the Piccadilly Line offers a frequent service to central London, from terminals 1, 3, 4 & 5. Journey time is approximately 1 hour. Take the Piccadilly Line to Piccadilly Circus, change here for the Bakerloo Line (southbound) to Elephant & Castle, change here to the Northern Line (northbound) to Borough station – from here Opus is a five minute walk away.
Gatwick Airport is within easy reach, using a direct train to London Bridge. This journey should take just 30 minutes. From London Bridge station Opus is less than a ten minute walk.
From London Stansted there are regular trains to London Liverpool Street – this should take approximately 45 minutes. From Liverpool Street station, using the Underground, take the Central Line (westbound) to Bank and then the Northern Line (southbound) to Borough station.
From City airport, take the Docklands Light Railway to Bank Underground station where you connect to the Northern Line (southbound) and exit at Borough Station. It is also possible to walk to the Opus offices from Bank station in under 30 minutes.
London Bridge station is directly connected to Luton Parkway station (which serves Luton Airport), this service should take around 50 minutes. From London Bridge station Opus is less than a ten minute walk.
